1. What is the significance of the system voltage value of 12/24V-12/24V for IP67 chargers?

When the IP67 charger is connected to the solar panel, it can use the 12V solar panel to boost the voltage to charge the 24V Housing battery; it can use the 12V solar panel to buck the voltage to charge the 12V Housing battery. When the IP67 charger is connected to the starter battery, the 12V starter battery can be utilized to boost the voltage to charge the 24V Housing battery; the 12V starter battery can be utilized to charge the 12V Housing battery.

2. What are the solar input requirements for this charger?

(1) The charger is suitable for up to 720W solar panel.
(2) The charger is compatible with up to 50V solar panel input.
(3) The charger is compatible with both rigid and flexible modules.

3. What type of alternator is this charger compatible with?

The charger is compatible with smart alternators and traditional alternators, the working voltage of different alternators will be different. The product itself comes with Bluetooth communication function, you can connect to DC Home or Core via Bluetooth, and then adjust the appropriate input voltage value of the charger according to the characteristics of the working voltage of different types of alternators.

4. How do I set the battery type on this charger?

Way 1: The charger itself has a button to set the battery type, the button is next to the "Type" indicator, press it briefly to select a different battery type.
Way 2: The charger itself comes with Bluetooth communication, you can connect our Core, DC Home to change the battery type.

It appears to work well. I just had two lithium batteries installed along with this DC-DC Charger. I now have 300 amps of power in the RV.
I like the ability to be able to charge via solar, alternator or both.
The problem I see right now is the operating temperature of this device.
I drained the batteries to appx 50% and went for a drive to test the system.
The RV business that installed this equipment did a poor job with the charger install. They neglected to mount it and just crammed it down a space that was surrounded by wires.
While going for a test drive I monitored the app on my phone and could see it was showing “CURRENT LIMIT” on the APP display. It was sourcing more than 50 amps at around 50-54 amps.
Along with this the device temperature was rising. It got as high as 201 degrees Fahrenheit before I pulled over and shut it down. This is above the specified temperature per the manual. However, the manual also states it is temperature protected though it doesn’t show a value for it.
Fearing damage I shut it down and let it cool down. I tried it again and it peaked at maximum current and once again climbed to over 200 degrees.
At this point I’m not sure if this is normal or not. It seems a bit excessive to me. To remedy this I went into the settings and adjusted the current setting to 30 amps. This seemed to help a lot. It was running at around 155 degrees. But by this time the batteries were nearly fully charged so I don’t know if that could have helped to keep it cool.
I will have to mount this elsewhere where it can have some air circulating around it and keep the current setting at 30. I really don’t need that much charge current anyway.
So, just be aware that this thing is a hotbox and beware where you decide to mount it.

Bluetooth not working. Technical support not providing answers

Seamlessly and automatically controls power to charge the house batteries from the solar panels (mppt), and the alternator. Love that it reports its operating status to the Renogy app. Simple to set up type of battery for the correct charge profile. Only improvement would be a higher power output. Love this dual input charge controller.

I love my DC to DC charger. I was comparing my solar build with another camper and they were so impressed that they are probably going to switch to Renogy components.
