Yes, the fuse is replaceable.The fuse can be removed from the housing by loosening 2 bolts.The fuse is easy to replace, and it is best to have something extra on hand and easy to disassemble and replace. Order on Amazon.

The post are 5/16 stud (M8).

3. How do I choose a fuse size? Choose an inverter rating or go up one from there?

Class T fuse can be used to protect 12V inverters up to 3000W ， 150A for 1000W inverters, 250A for 2000W inverters, and 350A for 3000W inverters .

4. Does this include a short fuse cable?

NO, cable is provided you must purchase your own cable separately, which can be found at any Auto parts store.
