Off-grid power solutions provider Renogy has introduced a new feedback program for installers and technicians, designed to work alongside its internal testing. This allows dealers to take a more direct part in influencing upcoming products.
Expanding Dealer Network
Tiffany Dorin, Vice President and Head of North America Operations, noted that the company's fast expansion of dealers—from 30 to 300 partners within two years—has set the stage for this program.
"With the scale of our network today, we can partner with technicians who are already deeply familiar with our products," Dorin said. "We want them doing the installs, living with the systems and then telling us exactly what works and what doesn't. That voice from the field is invaluable to our innovation."
Program Details
Participating dealers, known as ambassadors, will install and test Renogy products for as long as three months. Their feedback will focus on ease of installation, system compatibility, product interface, and how clear the instructions are.
The program will begin with a restricted number of dealers in the US and will be administered by Renogy's aftermarket department. Prospective participants can apply at certifiedoffgrid.com/research-ambassador.
Customization & Responsiveness
Dorin added that this program expands Renogy's ongoing work with OEMs, who are increasingly seek custom power solutions.
"Every customer has unique needs — sometimes it's a battery that fits into an unusual space, sometimes it's lightweight solar for a compact build," Dorin said. "What sets Renogy apart is our ability to respond quickly. We can configure with existing products or design something new, and that flexibility builds real trust."
Looking Ahead
Renogy mentioned it is continuing to work with RV manufacturers of every scale, including specialized Class B and C makers who need lighter, more compact systems. Dorin said the feedback program will help Renogy refine products for both the aftermarket and OEM channels.
"Ultimately, this is about meeting customers where they are," Dorin said. "Some want a day off-grid, others want a week. By listening closely and responding quickly, we make sure their expectations are met — or exceeded."
