The Renogy 200W solar suitcase kit is perfect for outdoor adventures or as backup power for your home and cabin, offering both flexibility and dependability. You no longer have to rely on your power grid. This kit includes two 100w Monocrystalline solar panels which can provide 1KWH power per day, one 20A Voyager Charge Controller that is compatible with multiple battery types, one 9.9ft tray cable with alligator clips and one protective case for safe portability.

More Power and Flexibility

Adjustable kickstands are easy to set up and allow the panels to get maximum sunshine with only minor changes in angles. This ensures you always have enough energy even during emergencies. Take your outdoor adventures to another level with this flexible solution.

Foldable Design, Easy for Carrying and Storage

Its smal size coupled with its foldable design ensures that the suitcase can be carried around easily and stored in your RV or van without taking up too much space.

Multi-Protection Measures Ensure System Safety

The smart PWM technology ensures that the Voyager controller provides efficient, stable, and safe charging. These multiple protection measures keep your battery and system fully protected.

Easy to Set Up Plug and Play Kit

This kit comes with alligator clips, making it easy to connect the Voyager charge controller to multiple battery types. As such, this system is ideal for a mobile system that requires flexibility.

Grade A+ Solar Cells and Higher Module Efficiency

The Renogy solar panels use Grade A+ solar cells and multi-layered sheet laminations. These features enhance cell performance and provide a long service life.

Excellent Performance in Low-light Environments

Bypass Diodes installed inside the junction boxes minimize power drop caused by shade. In this manner, they ensure excellent performance in low-light environments and avoid the negative effects caused by hot spots. In this way, they also ensure product safety during use.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which kind of extension cord I should purchase with this panel for more mobility within my RV?

The Renogy Solar Panel Extension Cable can create more space between your solar panels and the charge controller. There are multiple sizes available. Please choose the cable option with the same size for extension. The longer the extension, the greater the line loss. A bigger gauge will be required for longer runs.

2. Can I add more solar panels with the suitcase to expand my system?

Yes! This solar suitcase is designed for expansion. Additional panels can be added to the system based on your needs and space. We suggest you add the same solar suitcase for expansion. You may need to upgrade the controller when you extend your system. The kit comes with a 20A Voyager charge controller. If you decide to expand the system, divide the total power by the battery system voltage. This value can be used as a reference for controller selection.

3. Are these monocrystallin or polycrystallin panels?

The suitcase with 2 pcs 100W Renogy entail high-quality monocrystalline solar panels.

4. What type of batteries can be used with the kit?

Battery type compatibility depends on the charge controller and the specified battery type it is compatible with. This solar kit comes with a Renogy Voyager 20A PWM waterproof charge controller. It supports Gel, AGM, Flooded, and Lithium batteries. However, please pick the correct battery type once it is installed and if a Lithium battery is connected, manually set the system voltage by taking into account the corresponding battery voltage. This kit also comes with a Lithium activation feature.

5. How much power can this solar kit provide?

The power produced by solar panels will depend on the amount of sunlight it can get. The ideal output for this kit will be 1kWh every day(Calculated based on 200Wx5h expected sunlight availability).

6. Can I use this suitcase to charging my 120v receptacles directly?

The suitcase cannot 120V power receptacles directly. Instead, you can use a 12v battery and inverter as it would give the output you need. The panel can recharge the battery, which in turn will store the power. Then, the inverter would be able to supply the 120v power that you need.

7. Why is my solar panel underproducing?

Several factors may be impacting the performance of your solar panel. Typically, indirect sunlight, temperature rise, cloudy sky, and dirt and stain build up on the top glass lead to a reduced power output. Since this is a portable suitcase, you may try to move it in place or adjust the kickstands' angles to get better sunshine. The ideal output of this system is around 500 Watt-hours per day (Calculated based on 100Wx5h expected sunlight availability).
