Is this monitor compatible with non-Renogy brand lithium iron phosphate batteries?
No, it is only for the Renogy Smart Lithium Battery Series which includes our 48V 50Ah Smart Lithium Battery, 12V 100Ah Smart Lithium Battery w/ Self-Heating Function, and 12V 100Ah Smart Lithium Battery. If you need a monitor screen for connecting non-Renogy brand batteries, we recommend using our 500A Battery Monitor With Shunt.
Will the display always be on? Can I turn it off?
The display will automatically turn off when no operation is performed within 15 - 25 seconds.
How do I know that the lithium battery is 100% fully charged?
The battery level shows the real-time charge level of the battery relative to its capacity using four battery segments. If the battery is being charged, the battery segments will illuminate one by one repeatedly until the battery is fully charged. If the screen is used with a parallel battery bank, the battery level will be the average charge level of the batteries in the battery bank.
What cable is used to connect the monitor and battery?
Using RJ45 cables (CAT5 or above).
