Solar Panel Mounting Z Bracket -- Set of 4

These are super easy to attach and provide easy adjustment to make sure you can center the mount where you need it.

I wishthere would be a photo in the description for these showing the measurements between the holes.

I also wish the holes were either larger to accommodate M12 size bolts and/or closer together to accommodate a standard size M10 diameter U-bolt allowing for the panels to be mounted on crossbars on a roof rooftop.

I hate the idea of drilling into the rooftop of a vehicle, and mounting these to roof rack crossbars with square or rounded U-bolts is a great option in theory, however, I have searched far and wide for U-bolts that are sized to fit these (a combination of wide enough to fit the pre-drilled holes in these brackets, small enough (in terms of diameter) to go through the holes (without having to drill out the holes in the brackets to make them larger).

The only U-bolts I can find in this width are so tall/long that the threads on them don’t go down far enough to actually be able to secure the brackets onto the crossbar without creating a fix like stacking a bunch of washers over the U-bolt posts to use as spacers in between the bottom of the bracket and the bolt in order to achieve a secure fit.

These are actually high quality aluminum Z brackets and I have used them in the past. They can be rated 5 stars. However, for my current project I am mounting solar panels on a fiberglass RV roof and really don't want to put 8 holes in my roof to mount a single panel. I do wish Renogy offered a variety of hardware options for mounting panels.
