Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences between the REGO 3000W inverter (RIV1230RCH-SPS) and the previous REGO 3000W inverter (RIV1230RCL-1SS)?
The main difference is that the REGO 3000W inverter (RIV1230RCH-SPS) operates at high frequency, while the REGO 3000W inverter (RIV1230RCL-1SS) operates at standard frequency. The RIV1230RCH-SPS inverter also supports North American 120/240V AC split-phase input and has a higher load capacity, making it better suited for handling larger power demands.
Is this inverter compatible with DC Home or Renogy One M1/Core?
Yes, the REGO 3000W inverter (RIV1230RCH-SPS) features built-in Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to monitor and control it using the DC Home app or the Renogy One M1/Core Monitor. Additionally, it supports the RV-C communication protocol for seamless integration with your system.
When connected to shore power, does the inverter's self-consumption draw from the shore power or the battery?
In UPS mode, the inverter’s self-consumption is provided by the shore power (grid). However, in battery priority mode, the inverter draws power from the battery to cover its self-consumption.
In bypass mode, is the load capacity still restricted by the rated output power?
When the inverter is supplied with 120VAC input in bypass mode, the maximum output is 6000W, with a rated current of 50A. This means that the inverter can provide more power in bypass mode than its rated output in normal operation.
Is it possible to control the inverter and modify its settings through the app?
Yes, you can use the app to activate the inverter’s ECO mode. While powering off the inverter via the app isn’t possible, you can adjust settings such as the charging current and battery protection parameters for better system customization and efficiency.
