Why can't my Rego lithium battery’s heating function work? If you're into tech, dealing with a Rego lithium battery whose heating function is not working can be a real pain, how to do the battery troubleshooting? Even with a fancy battery bank, you might run into this issue. If you're stuck with this, there are some easy tricks to try. Let's figure out why your power's acting up and what you can do about it.

This troubleshooting guide applies to the following products:

REGO 12V 400Ah LiFePO4 Battery (SKU: RBT12400LFPL-SHBT-TS)

Why Can’t My Rego Battery’s Heating Function Work?

Unfortunately, when your Rego lithium battery’s heating function is not working, there could be a variety of reasons behind the problem. The issues might stem from a damaged battery or external factors unrelated to the lithium battery itself. It may require some trial and error as well as battery troubleshooting to uncover the underlying cause.

What Are The Factors Affecting The Operation Of Rego Battery’s Heating Function?

1. Not meeting the activation conditions for the individual battery's self-heating function.

2. Not meeting the activation conditions for the heating film when two or more batteries are connected in parallel.

Troubleshooting RV Battery Problems: A Step by Step Guide

For a single battery, please verify the following conditions:

1. Voltage Difference: The voltage difference between the external charging device and the battery voltage is greater than 0.5V.

2. Required Current to Drive the Heating Film: The charging device can provide a continuous and stable charging current (recommended to be greater than 15A).

3. Temperature Conditions: The internal temperature of the battery is below 41°F/5°C and above the minimum working temperature of the heating film -4°F/-20°C.

4. Settings: Confirm that the self-heating function is enabled.

------Possible Results------

Positive Result: All the above conditions are simultaneously met, but the heating function does not start. It is determined as a fault in the battery heating film; please refer to the after-sales process.

Negative Result: The above conditions are not simultaneously met. Ensure that all the above conditions are met simultaneously before trying again.

For a battery pack, please verify the following conditions:

1. Voltage Difference: The voltage difference between the external charging device and the battery pack voltage is greater than 0.5V.

2. Required Current to Drive the Heating Film: The charging device can provide a continuous and stable charging current to each battery (recommended to be greater than 15A for each battery).

3. Temperature Conditions: The internal temperature of the battery is below 41°F/5°C and above the minimum working temperature of the heating film -4°F/-20°C.

4. Voltage Difference Between Batteries: The voltage difference between two batteries is higher than 0.5V for the heating films of both batteries to work simultaneously.

5. Settings: Confirm that the self-heating function is enabled.

------Possible Results------

Positive Result: Not all the above conditions are simultaneously met. Please meet the conditions before trying again.

Negative Result: All the above conditions are met, but the heating function does not start. It is determined as a fault in the battery.
