Installation

Renogy DC Home app is available for Android and iOS phone users. To ensure optimal device performance, please download the latest app at Google Play or App Store. Alternatively, scan the QR core below.

Sign Up & Log In

For initial users, we recommend registering a new account with your email. This helps remember your paired devices and their settings whenever you log in to any phone.

Log in to the app with your account by following the log wizard in the app. For iOS users, you can log in with your Apple account instead. Once you've logged in, the Renogy Bluetooth module device will be able to export the data pertaining to your Bluetooth compatible Renogy products directly to your phone.

Connection and Pairing

Renogy DC Home app connects to and pairs with Renogy power supply devices and accessories through any of the following methods:

Connection via Built-in Bluetooth

Many Renogy energy products feature built-in Bluetooth for seamless smart control. To connect these devices to the DC Home app, follow the steps below:

For connection details, refer to "Installation & Monitoring Guide for Renogy DC Home App Users" in Comprehensive Guide to BT-1 vs. BT-2: Differences, Setup, and Monitoring at Renogy Learning Center.

Connection via WLAN/Cellular Network

The DC Home app is perfect for short-range energy monitoring while in long-range monitoring scenarios, you can pair the DC Home app with a Renogy ONE Core or Renogy ONE M1 via WLAN or cellular network. Before getting started, make sure the DC Home app is connected to a cellular network or a WLAN. The steps below take Renogy ONE Core as an example. Similar pairing rules apply to Renogy ONE M1.

Step 1: Make sure the Bluetooth of your phone is turned on. Make sure that the Renogy ONE Core is properly installed and powered on before the connection.

Step 2: In Renogy ONE Core, go to > System > Pair with App to find the QR code of the ONE Core.

FAQ

Is Internet Access Necessary for the DC Home App?

No. Internet access is optional in the DC Home app. The app provides Offline Mode for users encountering poor or no internet access. In this mode, you can manage and monitor power supply devices in the DC Home app but have no access to features such as Community, Finds, and Rays Shop that require internet connection.

Why Do I Fail to Connect to Renogy DC Home App?

Many reasons may lead to connection failures:

Possible Cause Solution
Your DC Home app is outdated.
  1. Update the DC Home App  – Download the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Retry Pairing – Restart the app and attempt to reconnect your device.
  3. Still Not Working? – Contact Renogy customer service for further assistance.
Your to-be-paired device is powered down. Ensure the device is properly installed and powered on.
The device is far away from the phone where the app is installed or there are obstacles between them.
  • Move closer – Ensure your phone is within 10 feet (3 meters) of the device.
  • Remove obstacles – Walls, metal objects, or other electronics may interfere with the signal. Try repositioning your phone or the device for a clearer connection.

Why Do I Fail to Connect Multiple Devices to DC Home with a Communication Hub?

When adding multiple devices to DC Home through the Communication Hub via just one BT-2 Bluetooth module, connect every single device to DC Home individually through the hub first, and then reconnect all devices to the hub.

Why Does the App Require Location Services?

Location Services permission is required only for Android users to scan and find Bluetooth devices. For iOS users, you have the right to refuse or allow the authorization.

To ensure location services are working properly, you should turn on you GPS switch. This is a requirement of the Android platform because Bluetooth scanning can in some cases be used to gather information about the location of the user. DC Home doesn't store your device location data in any way. DC Home will only require your location services when the app is using, and will not require your location services when the app is in the background or the app is closed. If permission is not granted, Bluetooth devices cannot be discovered.
