Job Summary

Responsible for marketing and publicizing goods or services within a company. Performs research to find target audience, holds focus groups, outlines goals, develops concepts, creates storyboards, approves copywriting, and sets budgets for ad campaigns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Main point of communication marketing team.
  • Set budgeting goals (annual and project based).
  • Develop advertising campaigns, eCom, pay-per-click, banner, and other Internet ads.
  • Manage email initiatives.
  • Measure ad effectiveness and optimize if needed.
  • Coordinate staff members who create and deliver ads.
  • Create, review, approve, and revise copy.
  • Oversee media buying.
  • Work with directors and dept. leads to come up with ad campaigns.
  • Find and vet new contractors and vendors.
  • Work with sales staff to generate ideas for the campaign.
  • Oversee creative staff.
  • Prepare cost estimates for campaigns.
  • Serve as liaisons between the firm requiring the advertising and an advertising or promotion agency that actually develops and places the ads.
  • Oversee in-house accounts.
  • Present campaigns during pitches.
  • Approve changes to budget as needed.
  • Cast actors for voiceovers and commercials.
  • Preside over film shoots.
  • Coordinate and manage live media or trade show events.
  • Organize and traffic all projects and communicate with stock holders for each project.
  • Identify potential markets.

Senior Graphic Designer

Renogy - Ontario, CA

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and produce marketing communications (print and digital) pieces for a wide variety target markets.
  • Collaborate with creative team, internal account teams and company partners to develop creative solutions and then translate those solutions through a variety of channels.
  • With the project manager, is responsible for creating accurate costings and delivering programs within budgets.
  • Stay current on industry trends.
  • Mentor other designers (staff, freelance, interns, etc.).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Proactively recommend creative communications for marketing proposals.
  • Work with internal business partners to ensure that a creative theme is included throughout all pre-sale proposals.
  • With the project manager, provide accurate price quotes to meet client budgets while maintaining MotivAction pricing guidelines.
  • Attend meetings as assigned.
  • Design of marketing communication pieces including overall theme development, individual piece designs, etc.
  • Manage production of all print pieces from conception to completion.
  • Partner with internal business partners as needed on the development of communications pieces.
  • Attend press checks as needed.
  • Maintain quality check on all pieces.
  • Deliver the communication package within the agreed upon budget and timeline.
  • Process and approve vendor invoices as needed.
  • Ensure all materials produced or managed is on Brand.
  • Creatively seek out new products and maintain cutting edge industry knowledge.
