Product Release: Renogy Inverter Chargers

Once again, Renogy is rolling out the release of a great new product line: Inverter Chargers. Last year, Renogy began selling three pure sine wave inverters in 500W, 1000W and 2000W. Inverters, which are used to convert the direct current produced by solar panels into alternating current, are an essential product for most off-grid power systems. In the US, the vast majority of electronics require alternating current. Renogy inverters are an excellent choice, as they allow for a stable power stream for applications that are sensitive to AC voltage variations. Special LED indicators on the exterior of each inverter provide notifications for under or over voltage, over temperature, overload, and short circuit.

A Renogy Inverter Charger can charge and maintain a battery bank when connected to shore power. With a 20-millisecond transfer time, power stays uninterrupted when switching from solar to shore power (marine application). During the winter, when days are shorter and the panels cannot sufficiently charge the battery bank, an AC generator can assist in keeping the battery bank charged. The inverter charger creates clean and silent energy so you don’t have to worry about losing access to your favorite devices and appliances.
