Don’t Be Stranded Without Power in the Time of a Crisis

Natural disasters and weather emergencies can threaten your way of life, no matter where you live in the United States. Tornadoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes do not only shatter lives immediately, but also cause a wake of problems in their aftermath. The electrical grid could be out for days or even weeks while emergency repairs are being made. Oftentimes, these repairs do not happen immediately, and entire communities are left without electricity to power their cell phones, air conditioners, or refrigerators. In other words, entire communities are left in the dark, creating an uncomfortable living situation at best, and a safety hazard at worst.

While it is impossible to prevent power outages, you can at least be prepared with some kind of back-up system. In the past, people have resorted to gas powered generators, which are noisy and could be expensive to fill up and replenish. However, there are new alternatives available, including solar power. While solar panels may take a little longer to charge a battery to full capacity, sunlight is an abundant and free resource. There is no need to waste valuable time driving to a gas station or refilling a tank. RNG Group Inc. is proud to announce a new addition to their product line: Renogy Emergency Kits.

Renogy offers three different package options for the Emergency Kit—30 Watts, 60 Watts, and 100 Watts. Each kit comes with a Renogy solar panel, charge controller (for the 60 Watt and 100 Watt kits), battery, and an inverter for effective and efficient charging. These kits are designed for times of great need; for example, when the power in your trailer goes out during a camping trip, or when there is a thunderstorm at home and you need back-up power source.

While the 30W Emergency Kit comes with a compact panel, the 60W and 100W Emergency Kits come with a Solar Suitcase. The 60W and 100W suitcases are a company bestseller; they are both convenient and easy to use. These Solar Suitcases already have a charge controller attached to the back of the panel, and fold easily so storing the kit is not an issue. RNG Group Inc. designs solar kits with the needs and concerns of its customers in mind. We want our customers to know that they can depend on us, even in a time of crisis.
